History

Wrought Iron: The business began in the early 1960s with blacksmith, Bert Holsworth and was situated in Moorabool St., Geelong. Soon after Albert Jennings joined the team. At this time much of the work was wrought iron - with the coke fired forge blazing in the corner with ringing of hammer on anvil. Some time later Albert Jennings took over, and relocated to the current address in Tegwen St Belmont. The name was changed to "Jennings Custom Steel". Over the subsequent years the demand for Wrought iron diminished, but now our Building clients were requesting more and more lintels and beams and columns and so the business responded to meet these requirements for structural steel.        

What we do

Today, Jennings specialise in structural steel work for Domestic Builders; Including beams, columns lintels and other elements. To ensure the best results Jennings prefer to take responsibility from the site measure through the fabrication and installation.
